Welcome to Checkley Community Centre

Checkley Community Centre is in the small, rural village of Checkley. The Hall was opened in 1984 and stands in a prominent position at the top of the village.

The hall can cater for all types of events, including Weddings, Birthday Parties, Barn Dances and has as a Stage, Bar and Kitchen facilities. To hire the hall and check availability just click on the booking tab.

The Community Centre is trying to do its bit towards saving the planet by going green. The solar panels on the front Roof provide 11,000Kw of electricity a year, which is more than our needs. So we export the spare units back to the National Grid. This helps our Carbon Footprint and also saves money on our Electricity costs.
